Our 6 Step Sterilization
Instruments are washed here under Running Water and Soap Solution, Scrubbed Manually to remove Debris and again Rinsed with Soap Solution and Water.
Instruments here are moved into Ultrasonic Cleaner. Ultrasonic cleaners are the most reliable method for eliminating unwanted bioburden prior to sterilization. Ultrasonic cleaners use sound waves to rapidly vibrate either a detergent or an enzyme bath up to 37,000 cycles every minute. This creates millions upon millions of tiny bubbles that strike the surface of your instruments with relatively high force, removing unwanted blood, saliva, and food particles from your tools.
Instruments here are soaked into germicidal chemical (glutaraldehyde based) for chemical disinfection.
Instruments here are wiped and dried using Dryers and then Wrapped into Sterilization Pouches with Bio-indicators to make ready for the next step.
Instruments are now Sterilized using Class B Autoclave which gives a Printed Test Report after each successful sterilization cycle. A Class B Sterilizer is a steam sterilizer that uses a vacuum pump to remove air/steam mixtures from the chamber prior to sterilization cycle beginning . This process can remove 99% of the air inside of the chamber before the temperature and pressure increases to it’s necessary parameters. This dynamic air removal provides the necessary conditions to sterilize any load type, including porous or hollow materials, products in pouches, textiles and hollow items like wands, turbines, handpieces and tips.
All the instruments are now kept into Ultraviolet Chambers and stored here for the next use.
